Summit at the Copenhagen is doing nothing but creating health hazards, environmental pollution and waste of public money as the world leaders are visiting there. It would have been better if a consensus would have been reached by all the countries before holding such a summit. Now two blocks have been created who rightfully demand funds and technological help for reducing the carbon emission in their countries and those who are avoiding it. The nature is not going to wait for an agreement to be reached to check the global warming and its consequences.
The amount of money spent in this summit would have better been diverted to check the global warming. After all what purpose this summit has served for the common man.
It is anticipated to create 46 thousand tons of carbon dioxide due to the flights to Copenhagen. Angela Merkel, German Chancellor is already nervous about the outcome of the summit. Ban is pleading to stop finger pointing at each other for the success or failure of it.
Pope and Prince Charles have asked the nations to work for the success of the summit. But the picture is gloomy.We can just hope for the best
